Ceremony: a midsummer celebration
Ceremony will be a fully virtual art exhibit for 2021, so no need to drop off or pick up work. Artists will be required to send in a high resolution photo of their work for our online gallery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and for our communities' general health and safety we have decided not to open the gallery doors just yet for in person viewing. We are looking forward to more indoor in person exhibitions soon, so stay informed by subscribing to our email and look out for the 2022 exhibition and event calendar and for future artist opportunities.

The summer solstice celebration has long been an earthly tradition that has transcended across cultures. The act of ritual and ceremony is a something all cultures participate in, that be religiously, culturally, or within their family. We invite artists to submit work that touches on subjects having to do with these themes of ceremony, tradition, and ritual in their own personal life experience, in honoring what our living world gives back to us.
The Ruth Wells Center is hosting a Midsummer's Solstice celebration on Saturday, June 19th on the Lawn of our historic property. There will be live music, food trucks, libations, an art and curiosities sale and fun artistic activities for kids.
