Classes

QVCAH is devoted to providing our area with exemplary workshops, classes, and programs in the arts and humanities. It is our goal to enrich and enlighten through creative exploration of all the artistic disciplines.

Our educational programs are for people of all ages and skill levels and are scheduled throughout the calendar year, including evenings and weekends. Classes, workshops, and programs are taught by professional practicing artist who are well recognized in their area of expertise. We keep our classes small to create a more intimate environment.

Although all programs are available to the general public, QVCAH members receive the added benefits of enrollment priority and discounted registration.

Based on the book "If Picasso Painted a Snowman", the children will be taught different styles of painting like the great influencers in Art History.

Featuring a live demo of cold-processed soap making, followed by a hands on melt and pour, where you can create your own soap...from shape, to scent, to color! This is a BYOB event...come sip and sudz with us!
This event is $15 per person...which includes your take home soap! Additional soap is available for purchase!

PUBLIC HOUSE COOKS FOR THE COMMUNITY

This course will be offered to the beginning to intermediate individuals that have always wanted to get skills in drawing with a variety of media. Having drawing skills becomes a gateway to doing other art forms such as painting, sculpture, printmaking,,,etc. For others, the art of drawing can become a stress reducer or a potential for marketing your skills. The classes are for ages 12 to adult.

The cost for each class is $20.00 and can be paid at the end of class or you can purchase a package of six classes for $120.00
