September 9, 2020
Every year, we have the pleasure and responsibility to host an annual meeting to share information about the past fiscal year and what our future holds, and this year is no different. We cannot wait to see all of you and catch up, but COVID-19 forces us to think outside the box and make some adjustments to our usual format.
Our annual meeting is usually held on the last Tuesday in June, but, as the board of directors, we voted to postpone the meeting until the end of September. The annual meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 29 at 7pm. In addition, this year’s annual meeting will be held virtually on Zoom, as we still feel we cannot accommodate gatherings at the Ruth Wells Center for the Arts while adhering to current CDC guidelines.
During this year’s annual meeting, we will:
Review our FY20 accomplishments.
Review finances for FY21 to date.
Welcome and introduce our four new board members, and say thank you and goodbye to a few longstanding board members.
Commemorate our dear, late vice president, Maureen Prokos, who passed in December.
Discuss our plans for FY21 and beyond.
As an organization, we decided at the start of the pandemic not to hold a member drive or send fee reminders, so please know that all members from 2019 through present are welcome to join meeting.
As previously mentioned, this year’s annual meeting will be held on Zoom, an online video conferencing platform. Please make note of the meeting details below, including the meeting ID and password, if you plan to join on your computer, tablet or smartphone via the Zoom app, or dial-in phone number, if you plan to dial in just to listen.
Meeting ID: 815 2382 4610 Dial-in Phone Number: 1-646-558-8656
